About Us

Longvalley Packaging Ltd is a family run business, it was established in 1978 by Mr Dhanji Velji Bhudia and his father Mr Velji Harji Bhudia.

This story starts in 1975 when Dhanji started working at a company.

The Vision

He was clear to provide a manufacturing service that would exceed customer expectations, and most importantly take all the hassle and worry out of working out the best packaging solution. A manufacturing facility was setup in a small unit in Barking, supplying manly to building industry, just after few years company grew rapidly supplying to packaging industry and pharmaceuticals companies.

As time went on there was a requirement for manufacturing of moulded expanded polystyrene products and company was able to purchase a running company in Essex to do just that. Company was growing rapidly and directors felt that it would be more beneficial if two factories were combined in a one unit. In 1988 Longvalley acquired property at 6 Atcost Road and setup brand new manufacturing facilities for moulded and hot wire cut expanded polystyrene.

With the Expanded polystyrene business growing steadily there was a demand for the supply of corrugated products to complement expanded polystyrene and in 1994 Longvalley built a unit at No 10 Atcost road solely for manufacturing of corrugated cartons. In 2003 Dhanji’s two sons Harry & Vijay joined the business, with his wealth of experience in manufacturing he educated his boys in the processes of manufacturing.

With our ISO9001 accreditation, the aim is to achieve the best possible packaging solution that is not overcomplicated and to protect the product in transit. With our highly trained production and customer services teams we are able offer to new and existing customers sound advice and access to large range of standard moulded expanded polystyrene products as well as custom made products both in expanded polystyrene and corrugated cartons to fulfil all your packaging requirements. It is our priority that your product get from A to B without getting damaged.
